Clinical Practice CE
A minimum of 15 hours of CE directly related to the clinical practice of respiratory care must be earned during every renewal cycle. The following will be accepted as meeting the clinical practice criteria:
- Training and education in the therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities which affect the pulmonary system and associated aspects of cardiopulmonary and other systems functions as defined in sections 3702, 3702.5, and 3702.7 of the Business and Professions Code.
- Successful completion of approved credentialing examinations.
- Successful completion of approved certification examinations.
